Brave Bison has been shortlisted in two categories at the Performance Marketing World Awards 2026, recognising our work with Aviva and Trafalgar Travel.
The two shortlisted campaigns demonstrate different sides of performance marketing, from building organic visibility and authority through integrated search and storytelling, to using performance creative at scale to unlock greater returns from paid media.
Turning nostalgia into measurable impact with Aviva
Our work with Aviva centred on Miles of Memories, the brand’s first integrated SEO, social media and media relations campaign in the General Insurance space.
Aviva wanted to increase awareness and consideration for its car insurance offering, improve organic visibility and attract higher-value traffic, while creating a stronger emotional connection with customers.
Working across Aviva’s core customer segments, we identified nostalgia and shared experiences around cars as a powerful creative territory. This insight became the foundation of Miles of Memories, combining original research, real customer stories, digital PR, social content and an optimised landing page within Aviva’s car insurance ecosystem.
The integrated Organic Performance approach delivered a number one ranking for “car insurance”, increased organic car insurance traffic value fivefold and drove an 11% increase in overall SEO visibility. It also secured 26 high-authority backlinks from relevant business and automotive publications.
Closing Trafalgar’s creative gap and boosting ROAS by 195%
Our work with Trafalgar Travel tackled a very different performance challenge.
The global guided travel brand had significant paid media opportunity available, but not enough high-quality creative to support the volume and variety its media plan required. This meant valuable advertising budget was being left unspent.
Brave Bison embedded its performance creative team into Trafalgar’s ways of working, creating an always-on pipeline of full-funnel assets designed specifically for paid media. Rather than treating creative production as a one-off campaign process, the partnership established a continuous system for developing, testing and iterating new creative at scale.
Through Brave Bison’s Performance Creative approach, the partnership now delivers around 250 assets every month and has helped Trafalgar achieve a 195% uplift in ROAS and a 290% uplift from add-to-cart to purchase.
