Brave Bison, the independent digital media and social video broadcaster, announces the non-Board appointment of Jonathan Kitchen as Commercial Director with immediate effect.
Jon, formerly Head of Sales at LADbible Group, has extensive experience of media, advertising and digital innovation, and in building and managing cross-platform sales teams. He has spent much of his career in a variety of roles at Dennis Publishing, latterly launching the digital creative agency, Adnostic, while maintaining responsibility for creative solutions and partnerships across the wider business. He joined LADbible Group in early 2016 where he has played a key role in the commercialisation of the brand and in restructuring and strengthening the commercial team.
This is the second major appointment by new CEO Claire Hungate following the announcement that Paul Campbell-White would be joining the Company in October as its new Chief Financial Officer, from Warner Bros. Television Production U.K.
Claire Hungate, Chief Executive Officer of Brave Bison, commented: “I am delighted that Jon is joining us, bringing with him a wealth of experience that will impact across the business. He is a hugely significant addition and it is great that we are attracting talent from big name companies like Warner Bros. and LADbible Group. Along with Paul Campbell-White, Jon becomes part of a formidable senior management team to embark with me on the next stage of Brave Bison’s development.”
Jon Kitchen commented: “As an owner, producer and distributor of content, Brave Bison holds a unique position within the social landscape. When combined with Claire’s vision for the company and the role itself, the result was a compelling proposition that was impossible to turn down.”
