Brave Bison Group plc (AIM: BBSN), the social video company, has appointed Caroline Troman as APAC General Manager with immediate effect. Working closely with the EMEA office based in London, Caroline will lead Brave Bison's rapidly growing Singapore office servicing this high-growth region.
Her appointment follows swiftly on the back of the appointment of Matthew Crescenzo as APAC Creative Lead. It is in line with the Group's strategy to leverage the strong opportunity this region holds for social video, given that ad spend in Asia-Pacific is projected to climb by USD$30bn (£23.49bn5bn) between 2016 and 2019, accounting for 33.4% of the global figure by 2019*.
Brave Bison's APAC team offers strategy and origination of content directly to brands and has recently created and delivered campaigns for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, All Nippon Airways and P&G beauty brand SKii.
Caroline joins from AOL Platforms where she was Commercial Director, APAC. Having worked in leading roles within blue-chip digital businesses for over 15 years, Caroline's expertise spans strategic consultancy, business development and leading key global accounts. She has an impressive regional network, having lived and worked in the APAC region since 2014. Previous to this, Caroline led sales teams at Yahoo and Microsoft Advertising.
Claire Hungate, CEO at Brave Bison, commented: I am delighted that Caroline is joining our excellent APAC team, bringing a wealth of experience in running and growing digital businesses. As one of the few regions where ad spend continues to grow, APAC is a key target for our social video strategy, origination and distribution model.
Caroline Troman commented: As an owner, producer and distributor of content, Brave Bison holds a unique position within the social landscape. This, combined with the opportunity for growth in APAC and the ambitious vision of the company, created a compelling proposition that was impossible to turn down.
