Brave Bison Group plc (AIM: BBSN), the social video company, has agreed a two-year exclusive kit sponsorship and supplier deal with leading sports brand, Under Armour, for Rebel FC, its social influencer football team.
Rebel FC has been developed in partnership with Brave Bison and YouTube star Calum Airey (Calfreezy), to serve as both a sports digital media enterprise and a football team. It creates entertaining football-content, delivered across all key social platforms. The partnership is an example of how Brave Bison can help influencer talent realise their commercial potential through innovative new business ventures. Calfreezy has more than three million YouTube subscribers.
The two-year deal sees Rebel FC join the ever-growing Under Armour roster, which includes World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua, tennis star Andy Murray and professional football teams Southampton and Aston Villa.
As well as benefitting financially from the deal, Rebel FC will wear bespoke Under Armour kits for all of their matches, which are broadcast to their mass of fans across social platforms as they continue their ambitious and unorthodox journey to the higher reaches of football. Earlier this season Rebel FC enlisted Rio Ferdinand as coach for their first fixture in a clear indication of their ambition.
