Nurturing the Ryder Cup’s fanbase while maximising revenue

The Ryder Cup is a prestigious bi-annual tournament featuring many of the greatest players in the game. With a vast archive of back catalogue content, we identified an opportunity to work with the Ryder Cup to rapidly grow its YouTube presence whilst also protecting the rights of its partners. During the event, our support included editing, optimising and publishing all content.

Solution

Our solution was to design both an in-tournament strategy and ‘always-on’ content plan to maximise audience growth, engagement and revenue during and between tournaments.

We ensured that Ryder Cup’s rights are protected whilst also maximising revenue by cleverly implementing Content ID and rights management best practices.
