After nine years supporting Furniture Village with its online channel, it was time to replatform the existing site into a powerfully efficient business tool.
The new site had to be scalable and easy to manage to cope with high growth while offering customers an intuitive, enjoyable shopping experience.
Furniture Village had chosen the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform for its stability and scalability. Over 16 weeks, we combined in-depth user research with deep technical understanding to map the site's functionality with the business vision.
This included technical integration with 15 different systems for a seamless in-store and online experience:
We opted for Amplience as the headless CMS and DAM to power most of the content creation on the website and all product imagery, while Cybersource, PayPal and Novuna integrations provided diverse payment options for customers. If customers only wanted to pay a deposit online, we had that covered too.
We supported the site with integrations for order tracking and self-service portals, letting customers track their orders, get updates for delays, get help and support, and more.
In late 2023, Furniture Village’s homepage redesign project was completed, boosting the brand’s online identity.
The final outcome? A slick, fast and responsive site built to boost high-ticket sales. And don’t just take our word for it - since the project’s completion, online remains the biggest store for Furniture Village.
