Brave Bison secures another lap with Le Mans!

September 2024

Digital media, marketing and technology company Brave Bison has renewed its contract with Le Mans Endurance Management (LMEM) until the end of 2026.

The partnership, headed up by Brave Bison’s sports entity Media Network, will see the continued management and smooth running of LMEM’s owned YouTube channels, along with the handling of its YouTube rights management. These four channels, FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), Le Mans Cup, European Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series, will benefit from Brave Bison's expert guidance in their content strategy.

Each race weekend will undergo an analytical review to pinpoint successes and areas for growth. LMEM will be provided with in-depth audience insights to shape future content strategy. Every detail, from which text on thumbnails provides the highest click-through rates, to the best practices to increase viewer retention and revenue on long-form content, will be meticulously managed.

Since signing with LMEM in April 2022, Brave Bison has focused on getting fans as close to the action as possible by creating reactionary racing content during event weekends. This ensures that the content fans want to see—such as blistering overtakes and dramatic spin-outs—is always at their fingertips.

LMEM’s largest YouTube channel, WEC, has seen its subscriber base increase by over 200% to more than 500k subscribers in the two years that it has been partnered with Brave Bison. Notably, over two million viewers were attracted to the WEC YouTube channel over the course of the flagship 24 Hours of Le Mans race in June 2024. Further to this, the total viewership across the WEC YouTube channel has been boosted by 251% over the past year to over 60 million views.

The goal for the remainder of the 2024 season and beyond is to take it up a gear and continue the rapid growth. Ensuring that LMEM’s channels are the go-to destination on YouTube for motorsport enthusiasts is key for Brave Bison.

Martin Ruffell, head of sport, Brave Bison, commented, “We’ve seen an incredible rise and unprecedented excitement for endurance motorsport in the two years we’ve been working with LMEM – particularly with their hypercar series expanding to 19 entries across nine manufacturers for the 2024 season. It’s important to us that we carry on revving up fans of the sport, and giving them content that will keep them coming back.”
