Plus-size fashion retailer Yours Clothing has picked Brave Bison to manage its performance marketing.
Brave Bison will handle performance marketing for the retailer in the UK market, while also setting up the business in the US, Ireland and Australia throughout 2024.
The appointment follows a three-month competitive pitch against five other agencies. The pitch included an incumbent agency and was run without an intermediary.
Brave Bison's ownership of agency Social Chain was cited as the main reason for it being chosen. The social shop, which was set up by Steven Bartlett, was acquired by Brave Bison early last year.
The agency will use technology partners such as Feedonomics and GWI for data and insight to help determine the most profitable territories, and how to navigate each market’s nuances.
The brand mission of Yours Clothing is to champion women and their curves, so Brave Bison has been tasked with understanding the attitudes towards body positivity and self-love across the retailer's target regions.
The performance brief spans paid search, social, shopping and feed management.
Antony Talbot, group trading director at Yours Clothing, said: “We were the fastest-growing fashion retailer in 2022, and we’re not slowing down any time soon. As a result, we needed an agency partner that is operating at the same speed as us, and that can push our boundaries in terms of performance.
"Brave Bison’s experience, understanding of our business’ direction and unique approach to performance marketing is invaluable to us at such a pivotal point in our growth.”
The brand had previously worked with performance agencies Bring Digital, Modo25 and Wunderkind.
Hannah Kimuyu, managing director, performance, at Brave Bison, added: “Yours Clothing’s online growth has been bolstered by improvements in its online content over the last couple of years. However, in recognition of this significant impact digital can have on growth, it needed a long-term partner that can really take the brand to new heights.”
Brave Bison also won the search and social business for cookware retailer ProCook earlier this year.
