Brave Bison appoints Project Director to drive retail and digital transformation growth

October 2025

We're thrilled to announce the appointment of Romi Hirani as project director within our Commerce division.

Reporting to Al Ward, managing director, Commerce at Brave Bison, Romi’s appointment strengthens the company’s retail and digital transformation capabilities as it expands its portfolio of commerce clients and continues building delivery excellence across multi-brand environments.

Romi will oversee the agency’s entire programme of work for Caffè Nero, supporting the brand’s continued digital growth.

She joins from Malaberg, a D2C brand group specialising in health, wellness and nutraceuticals, where she was Senior Programme Manager. Romi has also led large-scale digital and omnichannel programmes for major retail names including Currys, River Island, Burberry and Selfridges, as well as projects for Harvey Nichols, Ted Baker, Smythson and iD Mobile. Her experience spans transformation and delivery excellence across Salesforce Commerce and Service Cloud platforms.

Commenting on the appointment, Al Ward, Managing Director, Commerce at Brave Bison, said: “This is a very exciting hire for us in Commerce. Romi’s experience client side in retail giants like Currys, River Island, Burberry and Selfridges adds more weight to our retail play for 2026. Add this to a stellar track record in delivery excellence and we expect Romi to have an outsized positive impact.”

Romi Hirani, Project Director at Brave Bison, added: “I’m excited to be joining the Commerce team to help shape our retail agenda. After years leading large-scale digital and omnichannel programmes for brands like Currys, River Island and Selfridges, this feels like the right next step working with great people, building strong teams, and delivering meaningful change across brands and customers.”
