The Digital PR campaigns that delivered results in Q2 2026

August 2026

Every quarter, we set out to prove that digital PR can does more than just generate coverage. Over the last three months, that meant realigning links to boost commercial pages, launching a product into a competitive market, and building long-term authority for a national institution. Here's a closer look at the campaigns behind the numbers.

1. Realigning links to boost an airline's highest-value pages We opened the quarter with a campaign for an international airline, built on an opportunity sizing exercise from the SEO team. The goal was simple: point the airline's existing link authority towards its highest-value commercial pages. Rather than building new links from scratch, we strategically qualified the publishers most likely to move the needle, then contacted them to redirect existing links so they pointed to deeper, revenue-driving pages across the UK, US and French markets. In one month, we secured 21 link realignments, shifting valuable link equity towards the pages that mattered most.

Key results:

  • 21 link realignments secured in one month, including the Daily Mail, Time Out, GEO and Visit Greenland, across the UK, US and French markets

  • 90% follow links, with an average domain rating of 58

2. Launching a new health product into a crowded market

Next, we worked with an online healthcare provider to build visibility for a newly launched insomnia product. We built proactive expert commentary around rising insomnia search trends and some lesser-known causes of sleeplessness, then used it to secure coverage with direct links back to the product page. The campaign delivered 20 links straight to the product page, each from high-authority sites. In the week following outreach, clicks to the page jumped 232%.

Key results:

  • 20 product page links, average domain rating of 73

  • 232% increase in clicks to the product page within a week

3. Building travel authority across three European markets

For a car rental brand, we built a run of culturally relevant, data-led travel campaigns across the UK, Germany and Italy. Topics ranged from Europe's chocolate capitals to its most enchanted forests and its most underrated proposal spots. The campaigns landed in over 50 pieces of coverage across three markets. Chocolate Capitals alone reached 46 million people, while UK and German coverage combined reached a further 42 million, all while securing links from major national and travel titles.

Key results:

  • 50+ placements across three markets, including the Mirror, Euronews and The Express

  • 46m reach for Chocolate Capitals; 42m reach across UK and German coverage

4. Building backlink authority for an education comparison platform

For an education comparison platform, we set out to strengthen the off-page performance of its university course pages. Starting with a competitor link gap analysis, we qualified a list of highly-relevant sites, then ran a phased outreach strategy targeting authoritative education and careers wesbites, including SOAS University of London, the University of Lancashire, the IPA and the Welsh government's careers site. The campaign generated 154 backlinks from 134 referring domains, with a 94% follow rate. Referring domains for the target section grew by 76%, and its URL Rating increased by 300%.

Key results:

  • 154 backlinks from 134 referring domains, 94% follow rate

  • 76% increase in referring domains and 300% increase in URL Rating over eight months
